Make Your Own Probiotics: Start Your Year with a Healthy Gut!
January 25 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Good probiotics are very important to overall health–and they are easy to make! A portion of this class will be hands-on, preparing classic fermented recipes that will be bubbling on your kitchen counter in no time.
Our gut represents the core of our digestive tract and is the primary way our bodies interact with the world around us. We host trillions of microorganisms in our digestive tract which help us digest our food and then release nutrients. A compromised gut microbiome—due to long-term medication use, poor diet, or environmental factors—can lead to skin conditions, diseases of the colon, emotional issues, and even depression. Join homeopathic practitioner Desirée Brazelton to learn how to care for your delicate gut microbiome, what factors impact its health, and ways that you can boost the good bacteria in your gut.
The ticket price for this class is $35, plus a $10 material fee to be paid directly to the instructor on the day of class.
